Step-by-Step Onboarding Guide
This guide helps you through the msg2ai onboarding process, detailing the information needed at each step for account setup.
Step 1: Sign-In
Description: Begin the onboarding by signing up or creating an account on msg2ai.
Instructions:
Choose your preferred method to sign in:
- Continue with GitHub: Use your GitHub account to log in quickly.
- Email Address: Enter your email address manually and click "Continue."
- Optionally, click on "Use Phone" if you prefer signing in with a phone number.
- If you are new to the platform, click on Sign up to create a new account.
Step 2: Enter Personal Information
- First Name & Last Name: Enter your full name as you'd like it to appear on the platform.
- Street: Fill in the street address where you reside.
- City: Enter your city.
- Country: Select your country from the dropdown menu.
- Zip Code: Provide your postal code to complete the address section.
- Password: Create a strong password to secure your account.
Click Next to proceed.
Step 3: Enter Business Information
Description: If you are setting up an account for business purposes, enter relevant details here. Otherwise, you can use your personal information as your business information.
Instructions:
- Business/Concept Name: Input a unique name for your business or concept.
- Use Personal Address for Business: Check this box if you want to copy over the address entered in the personal information section.
- If using a separate address, fill out:
- Country: Select the business location's country.
- Street: Enter the business address.
- City: Specify the city for the business location.
- Zip Code: Provide the postal code for the business address.
Click Next to proceed to the next step.
Step 4: Email Verification
Description: Verify your email to secure your account and enable communication.
Instructions:
- You'll receive a code in the email you provided.
- Email: Confirm that the displayed email is correct.
- Verification Code: Enter the code you received in your email inbox.
Click Next to complete the email verification step.
Step 5: Phone Number Verification
Description: Verify your phone number to add another layer of security to your account.
Instructions:
- Enter your phone number if not already displayed.
- You'll receive a verification code via SMS.
- Verification Code: Input the code received on your phone.
Click Next to verify your phone number.
Step 6: Select Your AI Assistant Type
Description: Choose the type of AI assistant that best aligns with your needs. This selection customizes your assistant's capabilities based on your intended use case.
Instructions:
Review the available assistant types and their descriptions:
Conference / Event Assistant
Enhance your event by providing attendees with real-time information, recommendations, and easy interaction, ensuring a smooth and engaging experience.
Concierge Assistant (Hotel, Rental Property)
Assist guests with personalized services, info on vacation or hotel amenities, and concierge-level support, providing an enhanced and smooth experience for hotel or vacation property guests.
Product / Services Assistant
Create an AI Assistant that integrates seamlessly with your application databases, systems, and functions through API access, all while adhering to strict authorization rules set by identity providers. Provide your customers with quick answers to their questions without the need to log into websites or apps, ensuring a streamlined and efficient user experience.
Hackathon
Create a versatile AI assistant for any use case, tailored to your specific needs. The AI assistant will be connected to a Number and Text Messaging service to help streamline your service with ease and efficiency.
Voice Assistant (Experimental)
Create a voice assistant. This is an experimental feature and may not work as expected.
Product Service Chatbot API Assistant
Create an AI Assistant with Product Service API Chatbot.
Select the option that best suits your needs by clicking the corresponding button.
Click Next to continue.
Step 7: Onboarding Completion
Description: Celebrate the successful completion of your onboarding process.
Instructions:
- A congratulatory message with confetti will appear, confirming that your setup is complete.
- Click on Go to Dashboard to start exploring the platform and using your new AI assistant.
Additional Tips:
- Save Your Information: Ensure that the details you provide, especially email and phone, are accurate for successful verification.
- Choose the Right Assistant: Review each assistant's description carefully to select the most suitable option for your needs.
- Secure Your Account: Use a strong password and complete both email and phone verifications to keep your account safe.
